Played at Elkins Ranch
Got a round in at Elkins Ranch Golf Course. Played ok, shot an 83. Elkins is a pretty easy course but a little tight. I played it with The Golf Chick and witnessed her five putt number nine

Did one of those one handed slapshots to get the ball back into the fairway. It was a temporary green on this hole that was really just tightly mown fairway (the only one on the course) and I missed a two foot par putt... |

Tee shot: 3 Wood Fairway Shot: 3 Iron Pitches: 1 Putts: 2 Notes: Hit a 3 wood that hooked into the water + 1 stroke lateral. Dropped and had no idea of the yardage so I hit a three iron that came up just short. |

Tee shot: 3 Wood Fairway Shot: 8 Iron Putts: 3 Notes: Hit a beautiful 3wood drawing just over the edge of that tree on the left - just beautiful. Pin was back right here so I aimed at the center of the green but pushed my eight iron just enough that it was right on line with the flag all the way - sweet looking. 10 feet just below the hole - three putts - bummer.. |

I decided to punch out with a driver but it only got me halfway there. Next up I shanked my eight iron back into the trees. Punched up with a 4 iron, pitched on, and made the putt! |
