NIKE Air SlingShot Stand Bag

I have never tried one of these carry stand golf bags with the double straps. I like walking but the pull carts are a real hassle to get in and out of your trunk and they don't fit on the cart if you decide to ride. These two-strap lightweight bags look perfect and comfortable so I decided to get one.

Nike Air Sling Shot Golf Stand Bag
After an extensive search through yahoo, ebay, and google, I chose what I think is the best golf bag for walkers out there: NIKE Air SlingShot Stand Bag. Golfsmith was the cheapest place to buy it online ($30 cheaper than any others). But TGW has the best pictures and the sellers on ebay had the most informative descriptions. Anyway, here are the features and benefits important to me for a golf carry bag:

It has the Izzo Dual Strap set up. It seemed like all the nice bags out there had this *Izzo* strap. I checked out some of the Izzo bags but they didn't seem that cool. It also has a strap at the bottom, which is mandatory.

Nike AIR technology - I don't know if this bag has a pump like those shoes Nike use to sell but I bet it adds to the strap cushioning. Some bag straps are so thin they kind of dig in to your shoulders.

Big pad on the side of the bag that bounces against your lower back. Feeling the shafts of the club hitting you on the butt each time you take a step sucks. This bag has what looks like a huge pad on the entire side of the bag.

Cart compatible - golf cart or pull cart should not be a problem. All the pockets are on the sides or the upper part and the legs that pop out when you set the bag down retract far enough not to cause a problem if you decide to ride instead of walk.

Good stands - we'll see. They all said it was good and it looks all right in the pictures.

5 sections to drop your clubs into (including a separate divider for your putter) - All the bags come with some sort of padded dividers at the top of the bag. For a carry bag I'd be ok with out any dividers. Not sure if the dividers go all the way down the bag, which would be real cool, or not. I have found that if the dividers are only at the top, when you stuff a jacket or something into one section of the bag, all the club grips scrunch up at the bottom of the bag and the dividers just grab onto the grip of the club you are trying to wrestle out.

And the number one reason I chose this bag: it only weighs four and a half pounds - it seemed like all the other bags weighed a pound or two more (except for those super skinny ones without any pockets or stands). I figure saving a pound or two lets me carry an extra bottle of water; and an extra sleeve of balls - just in case.

For only eighty bucks ? if I only walk a handful of times it will pay for itself.
