Official Site The City of Ventura offers two championship, 18-hole, par 72 golf courses that have been created on the coastal plains near the Santa Clara River by renowned architect William F. Bell. Don?t be fooled by the yardages on the scorecard, due to the ?gentle? breeze off the Pacific Ocean, Olivas Park can play as long as 7,000 yards from the championship tees.

Built in 1932, Buenaventura?s maturity is noticed from the time you step out of your car. Large cypress pines, native eucalyptus, and towering palm trees meander their way through this ever so challenging layout. A traditional style golf course with undulating greens and tree-lined fairways, you?re sure to be tested from tee to green.

Designer: William F. Bell found a unique way of creating an enjoyable experience for all who visit Olivas Park and Buenaventura. His two courses offer challenging play, scenic beauty and create a desire within each golfer to return to play these courses again. Location: Olivas Park and Buenaventura are located 40 minutes north of Los Angeles, and 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara. Conveniently off the 101 freeway, the courses are within 3 miles of each other in the beautiful City of Ventura.

Amenities: The Golf Clubs at Olivas Park and Buenaventura offer a 36-hole, 1-destination capability. Each course features full service Pro Shops that are stocked with the latest golf equipment and technology available on the market. Club repair is also available through both golf shops. If relaxing after your round interests you, visit either the Olivas Park Restaurant or the Wedgewood Bar & Grill and indulge in a cool soft drink or one of the refreshing brews on tap. Our Professional staff offers instruction for all ages and levels of ability.
