First Hole

384 yard par 4 first hole at the Calabasas Golf & Country Club

Takes a big drive to get to the flat area on the fairway here. From there it is all uphill to a green with a false front and a trap in the back. Whenever I play here the pin seems to be tucked behind the trap on the right. Don't let that 384 yards fool you - this is a long hole.

Notes: Nice drive to the flat area on the left center of the fairway. Hit nine iron on the green but spun back about 4 feet off the front of the green. Putted it up through the swale (counting it as a chip though) to about 3-4 feet and made the putt! Great start!
