Eighteenth Hole

435 yard par 5 Eighteenth hole at the Calabasas Golf & Country Club
Dogleg right. You can't really tell from the picture but those trees on the right can really block you out if you can't fade the ball off the tee. A straight ball here either drives through the fairway or lands in the trap on the left. Before I started this site, I once holed out a three wood from 200. It wasn't a double eagle though because my first attempt with the three wood found the water that fronts the green and wraps around it to the right.

What I've shot on this hole:
6 ON 07-14-2004:
Tee shot: Driver - Slice Out of the Rough: 8 Iron Approach Shot: 7 Iron Chips: 1 Putts: 2
| Notes: End of the day it was super hot, I was tired, sliced my drive into the adjacent fairway. Hit an 8 iron over a stand of trees to get back in play.

7 ON 04-13-2005:
Tee shot: Driver Out of the Rough: 7 Iron Approach Shot: 7 Iron Another Approach Shot: 4 Iron Pitches: 1 Putts: 2
| Notes: Nice drive but I aimed a little too far left to hit it that far. Note to self - aim right of the trap off the tee here or you will drive through the fairway. Lay up caught a tree limb and plugged into that trap. Slapped it out of the trap, punched a 4 iron in front of the water, lob wedge to 5 feet, two putt.
