Fourth Hole

513 yard par 5 4th hole at the Calabasas Golf & Country Club

Downhill dogleg right. With a big drive you can reach it in two. Careful though off the tee, the hillside on the right juts out quite a bit further than you would think. Ideal line here is just right of the traps lining the left side of the fairway (they are reachable). I actually aim directly at the center trap because that takes the OB right out of play and if I am in one you can still lay-up. Speaking of OB right, if your ball looks to be threatening the OB, the cart path runs right along the line at the corner - it is amazing how many people hit that cart path and end up WAY down the fairway with a short iron in.

For your approach, there is a huge trap all along the left side of this green - take it out of play with enough club. The right side of this green falls off dramatically so if you hit right of center your ball may trickle all the way off - be left of center unless it is a red flag.
