Seventh Hole

162 yard par 3 Seventh hole at the Calabasas Golf & Country Club

This is a fun hole you tee off through a chute of trees to a smallish green surrounded by bunkers. Actually there is no bunker if you go long right. Speaking of going right, that is your line over the right edge of that trap on the right. This green slopes right to left and a ball on that line will hit the additional slope from the backside of that bunker and careen dramatically left. There is no reason to ever hit it left on this hole you want to be right of the pin.

What I've shot on this hole:

3 ON 07-14-2004:

Tee shot: 7 Iron
Putts: 2
3 ON 08-11-2004:
Tee shot: 9 Iron
Putts: 2
4 ON 09-08-2004:
Tee shot: 6 Iron
Putts: 3
4 ON 04-13-2005:
Tee shot: 6 Iron
Greenside Bunker Strokes: 1
Putts: 2
Notes: Tee shot just a shade right and caught the trap. A few feet left and it would have tricked down towards the pin. Fried egg here, got it out and had a long two putt.
5 ON 06-26-2005:
Tee shot: 6 Iron
Greenside Bunker Strokes: 1
Chips: 1
Putts: 2
Notes: Went left off the tee into the trap. Didn't get enough sand and flew the green to an impossible spot. Didn't even try to chip close - chipped to the center of the green and two putted for a double bogey.
