Eighth Hole

359 yard par 4 Eighth hole at the Calabasas Golf & Country Club
Short dogleg right. Fairway slopes pretty hard to the right so aim at the furthest point of the visible cart path if you hit a straight ball. Oh yeah, it is lateral if you hit through this fairway on that line so stay back with a three wood or long iron. The fairway on this hole starts to drop off way downhill at about the 250 range and then flattens out to a huge uphill green sloping back to front. There is a large trap front and right of the green so you want to favor left. If your tee shot is on the right side of the fairway you will have a blind shot. I have pulled a three wood here into that hill left of the cart path and 50% of the time will kick down into position A in the fairway. If that rough has not been mowed though stay away from going left of the cart path - whatever that kind of grass is up there it wasn't designed to let you get a club through it onto a golf ball.

| Notes: Great 3 wood off the tee to right center. Tried one my knock down 9 irons I have been so successful with lately but pulled it just enough to be in the fringe. Walked up to it with just my putter but had a sprinkler head right infront of my ball so had to go back and get a wedge - nice chip - missed the 3 footer
