Ninth Hole

438 yard par 4 Ninth hole at the Calabasas Golf & Country Club
This hole is a real biatch. I have only parred it a few times. Tee shot is everything here (well the first half of everything since the green is so small and bunkered and undulating). See those traps. Short of them is ok but you will have a real long approach. A driver will carry them but if on that line you're dead. A straight ball that burns the edge of that tree on the left is what you need. Even that may catch a slope that takes your ball down to the right rough for potential tree trouble. If you draw it on that line you'll be in play but trees will block out your approach. Hook it on that line and you are OB. If you hit a draw, go at those traps and bring it back. I have no advice for your approach - just be delicate with it, don't be right of the green down that hill, and get out of here ASAP they have refreshments waiting for you at the turn.
