A New Desktop Wallpaper

I updated some courses I have played with pictures of each hole ( Simi Hills, Sunset Hills, and Westlake ) and had some misc. pictures in my camera that I added to the various courses. Some time ago I decided it would be fun to get some wildlife pictures and add those on to the course pages as well. Some courses around here have dear, others rabbits, others geese, birds, etc. As golfers we really take stuff like that for granted - most people don't get to see anything like actual wildlife - let alone all the beautiful scenery we pass by while looking for a lost pro-v. Non-golfers have to go hiking I guess. Anyway, I came across this picture I took recently at Moorpark CC and just love it:

This is my *happy place* - I don't know why but when I think about playing golf my mind takes me to this view off the left side of Moorpark's Creekside nine's first hole. No wonder I never turn down golf when someone wants to knock off early and go play twilight somewhere!

I decided to snap a picture of this view a couple weeks ago and it set in my camera for a while and I forgot that I even took it - but now I have it. I just love this view so I made this picture my desktop wallpaper background.

Next time you play Moorpark, don't forget to look to your left when you get close to the number one green on Creekside and notice this awesome view. There is something peaceful about looking down on rows of citrus trees...

If you have played at Moorpark or just want this as your wallpaper Click Here for a full size picture (well, 1600 x 1200). To make it your windows computer background just save it as whateveryoulike.jpg and remember what folder you saved it in, then right click on your existing background / desktop and choose properties, then click the *desktop* tab, hit browse and find the picture you saved, select it then hit ok. We will have the same backgrounds!
