Downswing - Path of your Hands

One of the swing thoughts I was focused on today at the driving range was to come across the ball at an angle like that lazer golf commercial from a few years ago. They are talking about sticking a laser pointer in the butt end of your club (end of the grip) and having that laser follow the yellow line on your down swing. Using my mad MS Paint skillz here is the deal:

I never tried or bought their Laser Guide Swing Path thingie because I got the point of it watching David Leadbetter explain it in their infomercial.

This is not the path of the clubface but rather the path your hands make leading into the ball before they uncock and release. I think of this position on every full swing I make and it really seems to help you come from the inside and not release too early. I started hitting the ball poorly today and this swing thought got me back on track!
