If you have a mole that's bigger than an erasures-head...it needs to be checked.
That is all.
Skin cancer is very serious so you needed to know at least that.
 As a golfer, the back of your neck gets burned a lot. So next time after your round when you end up with some hot bimbo drinking ghetto juice in a cheap motel room across town with the ... errr.. I mean uh . uh ... Every. Once in a while have your wife look at your back and check for anything suspicious skin cancer wise.
More about melanoma at My Daily Slice - JFB found out about skin cancer the hard way and has some great pointers. Glad he's 100% clear of it now! For the rest of us, one word: preventativemaintenance

| You're absolotely right about this one. My wife -- a skier -- got a funny looking mole and had to have major surgery to remove a cancerous growth from her face. Fortunately, multiple plastic surgeries put nearly everything back correctly. |
| Sorry to hear that GB'er. Skiing's the worst 'cause there nothin' but pure UV rays hittin' ya when you're high-up.

| You don't need a big dorky hat. I wear a very cool looking fedora style from Tilley's. It's teriffic and everyone at the club complements me on it. I wore a ball cap one day and half a dozen people wanted to know what happened to my regular lid. |

| Rich/JFB, thanks for the advice/info. I saw a dermotologist last week because I have a numerous specks/freckles. There were two I was concerned with but she, dermatologist, said they were bening seborrhic keratoma, aka mole. She asked if i wanted it iced (liq.nitrogen). I said it doesn't bother me so she just took a measurement and said if it bothers me, the size, we could ice it later. B |
