First Hole

The first hole at the Moorpark Country Club Ridgeline Creekside (Blue Tees)

357 yard par 4 dogleg right.

As you can tell, everything on this hole slopes from left to right. Hit your tee shot to the left side of the fairway aiming at the cart path a little bit after where the cart path bends to the right at the start of the dogleg. From there, favor the left side of the green as well. If you look real close in this picture you can see two people standing on the green (green is in line with those three traps from this angle). It seems like it is always one more club than you think here on the approach so take plenty of club into the green.

If you've played this course, please post any strategy or local knowledge you have in the comments on the appropriate hole

This is the first hole of the Ridgeline nine (it is a 27 hole track)
