Ninth Hole

The Ninth hole at the Moorpark Country Club Ridgeline Creekside (Blue Tees)

186 yard par 3

Normally downwind so you don't need too much club to get there. My man Mike owns this hole. That is his shadow - he's already put the peg in the ground and is anxiously anticipating how much money he will take from us - greenie, birdie, poleie, skin. The one time he miss hit it bounced out of the water onto the green and he still won the hole. See, that the lake is only like a half a foot deep near the shoreline and I think the bottom is concrete - a high ball that lands short can actually bounce up out of the water onto the green. I normally try a commercial shot here to the center of the green and get out with a two putt - hey I said *try* - doesn’t mean I succeed very often.

This is the Ridgeline nine
