Personalized Golf Balls

Like just about everyone else out there I like to play Titleist Pro V1's. The first time I played them they were magic. They were also hard to get back then. Next thing you know the shelves were full of them but they didn't seem as magic. I think they changed them a little and made them the *new and improved* prov1 that wasn't as good for my swing speed. I'll play any ball out there but if I have an important round I still go with the pro v's.

Lately I have been buying the used / refurbished / X-out ones, when I can find them, for around $20 a dozen. I am running low so I thought I would look online for some discount golf balls.

The best I could find were used golf balls for $23 a dozen plus shipping. I would save mon-ay buying them offline.

Next, for the fun of it, I priced out new titleist golf balls looking for the cheapest golf balls online. The lowest price I could find was $44 new plus shipping.

Then I found a site that had logo golf balls but you had to buy 12 dozen. They did have imprinted golf balls for $47 with free shipping. Basically the same price as the new ones. I decided to order a dozen Pro V1's with E A T G O L F.com printed in green. Grand Total $46.99.

Until I get my long game in shape, at four dollars a ball I'll save them for tournaments.

Update:
They arrived today (September 9th) and look great! EATGOLF.COM is printed on the seam opposite where it says Pro V1 392. The text is that same small size.
