Personalized Golf Tees
I thought it would be real cool to have eatgolf.com golf tees. So tonight I hit the net and went shopping for custom golf tees online. I went to highlanderlogo.com. I bought from them in the past and was happy. The personalized golf tees cost $22.50 for 250 tees. You could choose up to 3 lines of text to customize. But I just want one line of large text. Their website is kind of old school and I could not find a way to place a more custom order without actually placing the order so off I went. Next I found Par Golf Supply. They were $23.90 for 250 tees but only $48.40 for a thousand tees. This site offered different typestyles, 10 golf tees per poly bag options, all kinds of colors, longer tees, biodegradable tees, etc. I went with the standard length 2 1/8" white tees all in one huge bag so I can give them out to people I play golf with by the handful instead of messing with those little poly bags that are a hassle to open and get the tee out when everyone is waiting for you to hit. At the last minute I changed to the 2 ?? length (extra $8.00) For the personalization I went with Dom Casual font because it looked very readable in all caps and the Comic Sans font makes the E look too weird. (Don?t worry, Dom Casual is a sans serif font!) I wrote them a comment in the order form stating something like ? I just want the letters large and readable, if you like a different font better or don?t think the letters E A T G O L F .com should be spaced out - whatever you think would make it look best would be fantastic? I have the feeling that these personalized logo customization companies all get orders that they know won?t look good but say to themselves ?well that is what they want so?? I like leaving it up to them ? they are the golf tee printing experts not me. Total cost: 1,000 personalized white golf tees 2 ?? for $54.00. Not a bad deal 50 bucks for a huge bag of tees. I will never have to bend down to pick up another golf tee ever again! They say it takes about two weeks. If my digital camera ever gets here I will take a picture of the golf tees.
