Problem with Golf Shoes

I love my golf shoes, not only are they good looking (black leather and suede) but were actually comfortable right out the box. That says a lot because I have very wide feet (10 1/2 EEE) and it is always difficult to find comfortable shoes - golf related or not. I hesitantly picked these up at some local pro shop but when I tried them out on the course I was shocked that they actually fit and felt great with no break in required. Anyway, I am so pleased with these etonic golf shoes I will most likely reorder them again.

I must admit the footjoys* I had before these were even more comfortable, lasted longer, and were more waterproof, but they cost about twice as much.

Nevertheless, I wanted to mention the one problem with wearing black golf shoes. Here is a picture of my socks after my round. Keep in mind these were brand new Nike socks, first time I wore them.

You know what happens next - eventually these socks will find their way into the washing machine and if they both make it back, they will be all stained, dirty, and all old looking. I know because every pair of white socks I own look all dingy from these golf shoes.

*Those are not the exact dryjoys I had but are as close I can can find. They were on the back cover of all the golf magazines in the late 90's and I decided since I know nothing about fashion, nor what shoes are cool or good looking, I just bought the exact model that they were promoting. I guess that model was so popular it is now discontinued;)
