Stick with me Kid
Stick with me kid, I'll get ya trained yet? One of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite movies Men in Black or perhaps it was from Men in Black II
This is a great tip, in fact I think I will bold it with red it is so good:
Think about this ? you have thrown a baseball before. Make that throwing motion with your right arm / hand and watch what your right elbow does. It leads your hand (holding the ball) until it is time to release. Your shoulders naturally take away and follow through. You would never throw a ball without your right elbow leading the way ? that would be shot put style where 70 feet is some kind of record. In your golf swing feel that right elbow to leading the way. That's right, this is where the power is ? not in some dramatic shift you make, not in some pull down from the top move, not swinging as hard as you can - power is in the unhinging of the right elbow and uncocking of the hands right after they pass the golf ball. Watch Sergio Garcia swing next time he is on TV ? or any pro in slow motion. There is serious importance to what the right elbow is doing in the swing. That elbow is responsible for getting your hands in front of the ball at impact, slowing your body movement down, forcing you to swing from the inside, putting the power of the swing where the ball is, all kinds of good things happen when you lead the club with your right elbow. Nice graphic by the way, I will probably keep using it. If you want to make your own check out flamingtext.com
