The Blog Roll

Finally a post eh, sorry about that. I like to post every day but end up averaging only around three posts a week. This week has been non-golf hectic and I'm really getting behind on the fun stuff.

Lately I've noticed that there are a ton of fantastic golf blogs out there - and noticed more and more new ones starting up each month. It's wonderful - heck yeah, the more golf blogs the better - now there's so much daily golf stuff to read it is awesome - *points fingers* pretty.. pretty.. pretty good! But like a pink bunny drum major, the blogroll on the side bar here keeps growing and growing and growing... I have a feeling that by this time next year that list of other golf blogs would be longer than this post! That said, because of the golf blog growth, I've been thinking of moving the sidebar to its own page. But I didn't want a boring old web 1.0 links.html page - so I thought of a way to do it that would be a little cooler and here is what I came up with:

Along side each blog button, I put a link that shows that blog's latest post as a one liner that you can click on. Here it is: Eat Golf's Blog Roll. I haven't fully made the move yet from blogroll on the homepage to having it on its own page but plan to in the near future.

That page has a pretty complete list of golf blogs BTW but I know I am missing some. I can actually picture a couple sites that I know I am missing but can't think of their names... If you are a golf blogger email me and I'll add your blog up on it.

Usually the link along side each blog button shows up but there are a few on the blogroll that don't have links yet because they are either not updating, or their XML errors out. That means you Golfchick: I promise I didn't just snub you after that post of yours last week - feedburner crashes on your feed saying it can't read the nonstandard MS Word characters on your blog.

Last week, I had the pleasure of making fun of HOGB by photoshopping mediaguru's face onto an eagle But then GolfChick turned all traitor on me and put up a pic of me she had from like a year ago so that media could photoshop it..

Not that I hold a grudge....

Thinking of grudges, it is now time for me to finish building that elaborate algorithm that chooses players for the fantasy golf league. For those of you that haven't signed up for the game yet - go join in, it's free and is open for everybody..
