Fifth Hole

The Fifth hole at the Westlake Golf Course

271 yard par 4

<< Previous Hole 4 | Next Hole 6 >>

What I've shot on this hole:

4 ON 08-03-2004:

Tee shot: 5 Iron
Out of the Rough: 5 Iron - Bad Lie
Approach Shot: Sand Wedge
Putts: 2
Notes: My 5 iron tee shot ended up in a clump of grass at the base of a tree. I put a smooth pitching wedge swing on it but the club twisted on me and the ball hit a tree trunk and bounced back at me and stopped almost at my feet. With the now good lie - I hit a sandwedge stiff and drained the putt for par!
5 ON 08-13-2004:
Tee shot: 5 Iron
Fairway Shot: 3 Wood
Chips: 1
Putts: 2
Notes: Topped my 5 iron off the tee
5 ON 08-14-2004:
Tee shot: 5 Iron - Slice
Out of the Rough: 7 Iron
Pitches: 1
Putts: 2
Notes: Sliced my conservative tee shot into some trees and had to punch out sideways to get back in play. Hit a nice wedge but missed the put to bogey one of the easiest holes on the course.
5 ON 08-26-2004:
Tee shot: Driver
Fairway Shot: Sand Wedge
Putts: 3
4 ON 08-27-2004:
Tee shot: 3 Wood
Fairway Shot: Sand Wedge
Putts: 2
